Hi there! We’re Ayla and Atle.
We’re a Norwegian-American married couple who used to be part of the consumer class. Then, in 2018, we came to a realization: the money, the possessions, the status… it wasn’t contributing to our health or happiness. We were chasing the ideals of society rather than doing what made us truly happy.
That’s when we decided to simplify our lives and only focus on the essential things. We decluttered and minimized 99% of our stuff, resigned from our demanding jobs, and started focusing on what makes us happy.
After simplifying, we finally found what we had been seeking all along: the time, energy, and money to find true happiness in life. We haven’t looked back since.
